DROP
noun or verb
To debut an NFT and make it available for purchase at a specific time and place.
Or, such a debut.
GAS
noun
On the Ethereum network, gas is a fee that must be paid to the network in order to make a transaction.
MINT
verb
To create an NFT on a blockchain.
NFT (AKA “NIFTY”)
noun
A digital asset that has been linked to a blockchain, making it unique and traceable.
ONE OF ONE (1/1)
noun
An NFT that has been issued as a single edition; a unique NFT, with no official copies. Generally seen as more valuable than multi-edition NFTs.
OPEN EDITION
noun
An NFT for which an unlimited number of editions may be minted. The opposite of a limited edition, such as a one of one.
PAPER HANDS
noun
A short-term NFT holder who is likely to resell for a small profit or a loss. The opposite of diamond hands.
